Well, I've definitely stunted my art-making capacity now. I broke my right clavicle playing a game of racquetball. How you ask? Upon missing a returning serve, going quite fast, I rammed into the the wall, skinned my knee, and delivered a secondary impact to my head before collapsing to the ground. I'm trying to see this as a mixed blessing, trading extreme stress under piles of work from my four studios this semester with extreme boredom and relief. I can't paint or draw, at least well anyways, without pain. I could risk drawing at an unbelievably slow and inefficient pace to try and shorten the amount of time spent on my now late work so too much of my summer isn't just an extension of the semester. But I'd risk moving my bones to the point of definitely needing surgery. So I won't. I'd rather finish over the summer and develop ambidextrous-like skills and pick up reading again and look into securing a job (?) for the summer. So although my submissions have been few and far between, they definitely won't be for another month and a half or so. But I think you might like some pieces that I've completed so far whenever I get around to photographing them all. Just thought I'd let y'all know. Hope all is well.

I'm falling behind as usual in my college work, which is a huge contribution to why I haven't posted anything, like once every month at least like I had previously said I would. And to top it all off, signing up for classes started recently and I tried doing that this morning but I couldn't cause of a "class restriction" whatever that means. Because I can't handle too many classes during a semester I only sign up for 12-14 credits/semester (I only had 9 credits so far and I needed two more classes). I went down to the registrar office planning on flipping poo should I not get into the classes I needed for next semester, but it turns out I couldn't get in to the two classes cause I'm not a junior yet (I'm going on my third year). And this was done in front of some of my peers which really hurt my pride. Looks next semester will be a bunch of gen eds, severely depriving me of an artistic outlet-for a grade at least. I'm still making art, some of it's good, I just can't post it until after this semester ends since portfolio deadlines are starting to be given in early to mid december. I haven't posted anything new since the end of last semester, sorreh! I just enjoyed doing nothing over the summer too much that creating art suffered as well (I didn't even have a job). But I have plenty of projects that I've started, I just haven't finish them, annnnd I don't have a scanner big enough for some of them. Plus since the rent for my apartment is so outrageous I'm not paying for internet, yay libraries!

To rectify this, I plan on posting something at least once a month starting in September, for starters, who knows maybe more. But as an update for what I've been doing is that I've been continuing my comics of course, Peach Fuzz, using some new materials like different kinds of paper. I've been in my 3rd year of college for almost two weeks now, so far all's good, I love my classes, some more than others. I'm breaking into new mediums such as Oil painting, which I kinda hate cause of the drying time, and the scary 3D animation.

Well that's pretty much it, I hope I keep my plomise.

p.s. I also was able to do some ceramics over the summer thanks to my friend irl Dukhat89. I unfortunately wasn't able to get anything glazed due to some unfortunate events.
